HOW TO USE A MENSTRUATURE CUP

Any start can be tricky, even when trying a menstrual cup for the first time. However, we can assure you that there is nothing to fear.

Below are the five simple steps for using a menstrual cup:

1. Sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes before first use.

2. Fold the cup and insert the folded cup. There are many ways to fold the cup, but we recommend the punch-down fold and the C-fold. Once the whole cup is in your body, you can just let them unfold.

3. Insert a finger and feel the base of the cup. It should feel round or oval and have no noticeable dents. If you feel dents, do not grip the base of the cup gently on the stem and turn it around until it unfolds.t.

4. Remove the menstrual cup. Gently pull the stem while tightening your abs to push the cup down until you can reach the base. Squeeze the base of the cup to release the vacuum and gently wiggle it out. Do not remove the menstrual cup by pulling the nozzle, as this can cause an uncomfortable feeling.

5. Empty and reinsert.

It may take you a few days to feel comfortable with the cup. Experiment with different folding and insertion techniques and don't worry, you'll be a loyal cup lover in no time!!
